Vendor templates let the vendor add or edit there own specification documents.
If the project manager has allowed access to the template the vendor can view and add new paragraphs in vendor owned documents.
To view a template select the template from either the Templates under construction or Available templates list.
All of the templates that are available to the vendor will be listed.
Open the template document, right click the top node and click Add Sub Heading to add a new heading or click in the section to edit the current section if any data is already added.
If the template is currently available it is locked from editing and an in document warning will explain the template will be taken offline while its being edited and will stay that way until the content has been approved by the template creator / editor and made available again.
Add content and attachments to headings including in the document.
Repeat this for all headings.
When vendors have finished editing the template, click the individual Submit icon or the Batch submit button to submit the document for approval.
The sections can also be rejected and a reason why can be added. The vendor can then update the section again.
After the document has been submitted for approval icons will show the sections are awaiting approval.
Once the vendor has completed the document the template creator / editor will approve all content and make the template available again.
When the project manager creates a new tender they can include all vendor documents and each vendor will see only generic tender documents and their own documents.
