Project templates are the original versions of a complete set of project documents. For example a typical crane tender or civil project may consist of: a tender document describing in general what is to be delivered, how, when and where; a technical specification describing the detailed technical requirements for the systems to be delivered which may include drawings, sketches, certification requirements, etc.; and finally maybe a legal contract, containing responsibilities of both parties, agreements, penalties, payments, etc. This set of documents therefore make up the Tender Template. Whenever someone requires to execute a project of this nature, they will use this as the standard template (set of documents) and manage it within the system - collaborating on- line in a unified workspace with all other concerned parties. The Template folder contains all these master templates. They are stored in 3 folders depending on their status. The status allows us to identify templates that are still under construction and not yet available for use, those that are complete and therefore available and those that are no longer in use, but have been archived for history tracking purposes.
