Default Roles

The default roles tab allows you to select roles that will automatically be applied to the user in new tenders.
When you set the default roles you can set them in 2 ways.
 
  • Apply default roles to current business unit - If you select the checkbox to the left of the role it will only apply the default roles to the department/business unit the user currently resides in.
  • Apply default roles to multiple business units - You can select any or all business units within iSpec that the user will have default roles applied.
    This means that the user can have different default roles for different departments. For example a tender that was created in technical department could have Technical Content Team role but  only Guest Viewer role for a tender that the finance department created.
 
 
 
 
You can choose to apply the default roles to either:
 
  • Templates and tenders
  • Tenders only
  • Templates only
 
Note: Applying default roles to templates will only apply to the template creator.
