Using vendor templates in tenders

After the vendor has completed his documents in the template and the template has been made available its time to use the template documents in a tender.
Select the template and documents from the dropdown list, complete all fields and create your tender

In the new tender the specification documents for each vendor would be included with information  about access to the document. If  there are documents with no ownership, the access to these  documents are controlled by the role access permissions.

Each vendor will see documents that he owns as well as any other  document on which they have be given role access. If you do not  want vendors to see the standard technical specification or any  other  document types, ensure that you define your role permissions  accordingly. This makes it  possible to add a new vendor to the tender even though he has not supplied a specification  document  and still allow him access to the general specifications.

If you create a new document you can deny access to the document to certain vendors, when the vendor opens the project in they will not be able to see this document.
Note: The options to deny vendor access to a document will not be available until at least one vendor has been added in the vendor access panel.

Note: Once the tender has been awarded you can choose to show only the documents from the awarded vendor not ALL vendors
To do this click the Show only awarded vendor's documents checkbox.
All of the unsuccessful vendor documents will be removed and only the awarded vendor documents will be listed.
