Each and every template in the library can be setup with the required evaluation criteria to enable quick tender creation and reduced effort and repetitive research.
The approach in evaluation is typically using the weighted score approach.
iSpec - standard evaluation
Each and every heading/item in an iSpec document can be assigned a maximum technical and/or commercial score and weighting. This allows for a very detailed, flexible scoring system.
During evaluation, the system can assign the maximum score to all items that are fully compliant and require no other data from the vendor. Items that require technical or pricing responses from the vendor need to be scored manually by a team who will decide on a score for each item and enter it into the system.
The system will then provide a total Technical and Commercial score for each vendor and automatically generate comparison charts of the results, both for the normal and weighted scores.
