Advanced evaluation with approvals and predecessor
If you choose to setup the Advanced evaluation with both approvals and predecessors then the workflow will be as follows:
During tender creation you must choose an
RFx setting or edit the project after creation to included the following approvals.
If the Bid opening approval is included approve this first.
Click the Click to start button in either the Evaluations widget of in the evaluation phase itself (in this case the technical evaluations).
As this tender has been configured also with predecessors we can see the commercial phase is status is Waiting and will not be available until the technical evaluation is complete.
Once this phase is complete the status will have a check box indicator to show all evaluators have completed their evaluations.
To end the technical evaluation click the Click to end button in the evaluation tab or from the Evaluation widget.

Now the technical phase is complete the technical evaluation completed approval must be completed by clicking the obtain technical evaluation completed approval Start button in the Evaluation widget.
The approver will receive an email to login and approve the ending of the technical evaluations.
The next phase cannot start until the technical ending has been approved.
The approver will receive an email to approve the closing of the technical phase.
They can also see from the Approvals section in the dashboard and approve it.
Or approve it from the Approvals widget.
Once the technical end approval is complete the commercial evaluation will be available.
If the commercial evaluations require commercial bid opening approval the pricing information is hidden until it is approved.
Click the Start button in the Approvals widget.
The approver will receive an email to approve the commercial bid opening.
They can approve it from the dashboard or from the Approvals widget.
Once the commercial bid opening has been approved the commercial responses are available for viewing.
Note: The commercial responses will be available to view after the bid opening is approved the user does not need to wait until the evaluation phases has started,
Go back to the tender overview screen and start the commercial evaluations from the Evaluation widget or from the evaluations section.

Note: If you do not short list the vendors then the evaluation phase status will stay as waiting.
Once the commercial approval is completed (Indicated by the green check mark) click the Click to start button.
You can then start the commercial evaluations.
Once the commercial evaluations are complete (indicated by green check) you can click the Click to end button.
The evaluations and approvals are now completed and the customer can continue with negotiations.
If this is an E-bidding auction then this will start.

If this is not an E-bidding auction or the auction is complete the negotiations will continue.
