Clarifications and correspondence

If you require clarification of any item, select the heading for which you require clarification and click on the mail icon, this will bring up iSpec messaging window.
 
 
You may now enter your question or comment and attach a file to upload with it. Send your message by clicking on the Post message button.
Mouse over to view who will receive the message.

Full message history for both customers and vendors are stored in iSpec.
Once a message has been sent using iSpec users can use any email client to or recieve emails and providing the iSpec email is address is also in the TO recipient list iSpec will process the message and attach it to the correct heading.
 
 
Once you have posted the message the customer will see a message has been received in the dashboard.
The documents list and inside the document will show an unread message icon which will change to a read icon after the customer has clicked the Read/Action stamp.
 
 
The customer can click on the mail icon to open the messaging controls, read the message and confirm by checking the Read / Actioned box, responding if necessary.
 
 
A Date/Time stamp will be inserted and the name of the person who confirmed the message.
 
 
You can also read, respond and action messages directly from the Documents widget.
Click the Unread Messages link to open the message window.
Open the messenger to read the message trail, go to the item in the document or simply read the message and mark as Read/Actioned.
When the messages has been marked as read the unread counter will go down. If there are no other messages the messages link will be hidden.
 
All messages relating to any item will be kept under the message history for later reference.
