Managing documents

To allow a vendor to enter his own specification document you need to first give the vendor access to the template then add a document and assign the vendor as the owner.
 
 
Expand the vendor section and add the vendor(s) to allow access  to the template,
 
Once you have added the vendors add a new document and assign ownership of the document to the vendor. If you do not  give ownership to the document, access to the document is controlled by the standard role permission system.
 
Note: Once you have assigned the document owner it cannot be changed, you will need to copy the document and then change ownership of the document.
 
 
You may edit the document as required, it is recommended that you enter the document heading structure and only allow the vendor to change the text where applicable.
Once you are satisfied with the text you can approve the clause content and make the template available for use.
 
If the vendor adds or edits headings the template status will change from available to under Construction until the template creator approves all the changes and makes the template available again.
