Estimated Cost

Estimated cost allows the project manager to set a estimated cost for each item that requires a price, if this option is turned on then any items that require a price an estimated cost must be entered before the tender can be published.
 
Firstly the settings needs to be turned on in the system settings.
 
 
Once the settings has been turned on the option will show in both the RFx settings.
The RFx settings can also be edited after tender creation.
 
 
If the option is selected the headings will be highlighted red until the estimated cost is set.
 
If the item requires a price then you must enter an estimated cost.
 
 
The heading will turn black to indicate it is complete and the estimated cost has applied.
 
The estimated cost can also be changed from the Notes section at the top of the screen.
Once the estimated cost has been entered it will show Vendor pricing comparison report when the vendor has submitted there bids.
