1. Opening bids without opening approval option
Once the tender has closed, the bids need to be opened. Even if you have not selected the opening bids approval option, you will be required to enter your password in order to open the bids.
This is an additional security feature.
Before the bids are opened a warning will appear let you make additional checks before you actually open the bids. As this cannot be changed after.
Enter you password and the bids will be opened.
2. Opening bids with opening approval option
If you selected the bid opening approval option, the approval team will receive an email to approve the bid opening, once all approvers have done this the bids will be opened.
All the members of the tender committee will be required to approve the opening of the bids. Click here to read more on approval system options.
