If the E-bidding option has been enabled then vendor will have the opportunity to enter a bidding auction and try to out bid the other vendors included in the tender by lowering there prices to try to win the tender.

The E-bidding can be viewed in 2 different ways and is configured by the iSpec administrator in the system settings.

 

 

 

When the vendor logs in to iSpec they will see from the dashboard that the E-bidding has started. Click the tender name to open the project overview screen.

 

 

If there are any E-bidding in progress a floating panel will be visible on each page of the tender with the project name, E-bidding end date and the current ranking.

You can click the project name to go directly to the tender.

 

 

 

At the top of the screen the countdown time shows how many Days/Hours/Minutes until the bidding auction closes.

If the option is turned on the vendor can see a link to View vendor pricing comparison report in both the tools section.

 

 

 

They can also see the current price ranking in the properties section.

 

 

Click the link to open the vendor pricing comparison report. The report lists the other vendors as V1, V2, V3 etc. and shows each vendors current submitted price.

 

 

 

If any vendor wishes to change prices on an item they can open the document click the heading name, click the unit cost, enter a new price and save.

 

 

 

Each heading tells you the current ranking for that item only and is updated anytime a vendor makes any changes.

 

 

The vendor pricing comparison report will be updated and all the other vendors can see the new current price.

 

 

All vendors can see the historical changes in the Vendor pricing history chart

 

 

The vendors price rank may go up or down based on the vendors current position in the auction.

 

 

 

This process continues until the E-bidding closes.
