Clarifications and correspondence

If you require clarification of any item, select the heading for which you require clarification and click on the mail icon this will bring up iSpec messaging window.
 
 
You may now enter your question or comment and attach a file to upload with it. Send your message by clicking on the Post message button.
 
 
Once you have posted the message the customer will see this in the dashboard, document list, messaging widget or in the document itself.
 
 
The customer can click on the mail icon to open the messaging controls, read the message and confirm this by checking the Read box and respond.
 
 
A date/time stamp will be inserted next to the person who confirmed the message had been read.
 
 
You can also read, respond and mark as read directly from the TODO widget.
Click the Unread Messages link to open a popup and read the message directly.
Open the messenger to read the message trail, go to the item directly or simply read the message and mark as read.
If you click mark as read the message counter will go down if there are no other messages then the messages link will be hidden.
 
All messages relating to this item will be kept under the message history for later reference.
 
Note:The selection of who to send this message to will include the customer correspondence team ( if it exists) and the internal (vendor) correspondence team (if it exists).
If you choose to send this message to the customer all of the customer users and all of your users (vendor) will see it when they login to the system, but only the customer correspondence team will receive an e-mail.
If you send the message to your internal (vendor) correspondence team, ONLY your users will be able to see it when they login to the system and only the members of your correspondence team (vendor) will receive an e-mail. THE CUSTOMER WILL HAVE NO ACCESS TO THESE MESSAGES. Similarly the customer also can send correspondence that is visible ONLY to the customer users.
These messages are encrypted so even if the customer has access to his database, he cannot read this information.
