Contract amendments

Should any issues arise that require amendments to the contract, these should also be handled within iSpec.
 
For example let's say the agreed specs are no longer available. You need to discuss this with the customer and agree to different terms and perhaps a price difference.
 
Go to the item requiring the amendment.
Click the message icon and use the messaging system to informing the customer of the price amendments.
 
 
Click on the Post message button to send the customer the information. You can also send  a copy of the message to yourself by checking the Send me a copy of this message box.
 
The message will then be sent to the customer and a copy will be stored in the message history.
 
Once the customer has made the amendment, it just remains for you to check and accept it or make a counter offer.
 
 
In some cases the amendment might be a change to the original document text. In such a case the changes will be highlighted like this:
 
 
You can view the revision changes by clicking the View revision details link the changes will then be highlighted in green for new content or red for deleted content
 
 
 
If you disagree with the changes and need clarification or just want to discuss this revision you can send a correspondence to the customer.
