The link manager lets you create a link from one section to another. This is handy if one section references another section.
To link to another heading or section place the cursor where you would like the link and click the
Link manager 
icon.
Select the heading you would like to link to and click
.
The link will be highlighted and when clicked will take the user straight to the linked section.
Alternatively, you can highlight some text in the section and click the
Link manager icon.
The text will already be entered in the
Link manager window. Select the heading to link to and click the
button.
The text and link will now be highlighted as one link.
Note: IF section numbering is switched off you can only link to headings. To link to individual sections make sure this option is turned on in the document properties.
