Adding content without Approval permission
Adding content WITHOUT approval permission is done exactly the same way as
Adding content with approval permission however when the user has finished editing the icons and buttons are slightly different.
When the user has finished editing a section, they can either submit individual sections by clicking the Submit icon or batch submit ALL sections by clicking the Submit all your changes button
You can discard any of the edits made in a section by clicking the Discard your changes icon or batch discard by clicking the Discard all your changes button .
After either one or ALL your sections have been submitted for approval the icon in the outline tree will change to the Awaiting approval icon.
When the approver opens the document, they can either click the Approve or the Reject icons for individual sections or batch approve by clicking the Approve all sections button.
If the approver rejects the section, they will need to include a reason in the pop up which will be saved in the history.
The contents will then need to be change to the section and submit for approval again.
Note: Any user with an approval role can approve ANY section that has been edited even if the user has not submitted the section for approval.
When all sections have been approved the icon
in the outline tree will disappear.
The document is now ready to be locked, reviewed and signed.
