Inspect will keep a history record everytime you click Save and next. This is handy if a parameter fails (or passes) an inspection first time but then after a second inspection it subsequently passes (or fails).

When you make an inspection record for the first time no history record is created only the current record however when you go back again and change the inspection details a history record will be created.

 

In the following example an item has failed inspection and highlighted red.

 

 

When a second inspection is made a history record of the first is created and a Show history link appears.

The second inspection passes.

 

 

 

 

 

When we click the Show history link we can see that now we have the failed inspection history records
