Locations are used to identify groups of tests that are located in the same physical location. This is useful in cases where there is a significant travel or setup time involved to perform a group of tests, Example would be tests on a system where there are a group of test on the ground floor and you would have to climb stairs to get to the rest of the tests. It makes sense to perform all the tests in the lower location before moving up to the tests in the upper location. The location time value is added to the remaining tests with a location other than the last performed test.
Open the location manager from the Properties tab on the Project vverview screen. and click on Manage locations link.
Click on the Add button to add a new location.
You should have at least 2 locations defined in order to make use of the location system
Select the location to edit it's relative time to the other location.
The value you have entered will be taken as the relative time difference between Location 1 and Location 2. You can continue to select the relevant location on the test in the model editor.
The location value will be taken into account when the calculation for the next recommended test is performed.
