Model instances

If your model has multiple instances (e.g. 10 almost identical cranes, but with slight variations in terms of performance or calibrations etc.) and you have entered these into the modeler, when you start the runtime it will load one copy of each instance in its own window.

This means you can troubleshoot all at the same time. You just have to select the correct instance before passing test results to it.

This can be very useful when you have many items that are identical except possibly for there physical location with the larger system. Using the model class definitions for example, you can create one model and then enter the location, IP address and serial no for each instance (or configuration). This way if you are receiving monitoring data from the various components within the various instances, you can easily pass this data to the relevant instance for troubleshooting.
