The context menu in the model tree has various functions.

 

 

The following table describes the function of each option in the context menu of the Model tree. Also see the related links at the end of this section for more information on the differences between the various options.

Add group	Add a component of type function
Add Component	Add a component of type hardware
Copy	Copy the selected component and all its children and all their data
Cut	Cut the selected component and all its children and all their data
Paste	Paste the copied or cut component and all its children and all their data below the item selected
Paste Link	Paste only a link from copied or cut component to the selected item
Delete	Delete the selected item and all its children
Move Up	Move this item up one position in the tree (to change the order of components at the same level of depth in the tree)
Move Down	Move this item down one position in the tree (to change the order of components at the same level of depth in the tree)
Properties	Load or refresh the selected components data in the editor
Expand	Expand the entire tree from this component downwards
